Terms of Service

SpecCore provides software for extracting, normalizing, comparing, reviewing, and exporting technical specification data. Users must be able to enter a binding agreement and must provide accurate account information.

Access may be offered through a waitlist, invitation, free plan, paid subscription, or enterprise agreement. Features and limits vary by plan.

SpecCore outputs support engineering review and do not replace professional judgment, qualification testing, regulatory approval, supplier confirmation, or certification. Users must verify source documents, operating conditions, warnings, and conversion results before making design, purchasing, safety, or compliance decisions.

Users retain their rights in uploaded materials and grant SpecCore the limited rights needed to store, process, normalize, and display those materials to provide the service.

Users must have permission to upload each file and must not upload classified, export-controlled, unlawfully obtained, or otherwise restricted information without an appropriate written agreement.

Usage is counted when an upload or workspace is created. Deleting files or workspaces does not restore consumed monthly usage. Paid subscriptions renew until canceled through the billing portal or another available cancellation method.

Fees, plan limits, renewal terms, and applicable taxes are shown before checkout. Access may be limited after cancellation, failed payment, chargeback, or material breach.

We work to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that every source format will be extractable. We may modify features, limits, or these terms and will provide notice of material changes when appropriate.

Users may stop using the service and may delete their account subject to organization ownership and legal retention requirements. SpecCore may suspend access for security threats, abuse, nonpayment, or violation of these terms.

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of error-free operation or fitness for a particular engineering decision, and SpecCore is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
