Why should load rating and proof load remain separate?

Load rating describes intended working capability, while proof load is a verification or test condition. Ultimate load, limit load, proof load, and working load should be mapped to distinct fields.

How should fatigue life be compared?

Fatigue life needs load spectrum, stress ratio, environment, material condition, temperature, surface finish, and test method. A cycle count without those conditions is not enough for direct equivalence.

What environmental values should be flagged?

Flag values tied to salt spray, vibration spectrum, shock pulse, altitude, humidity, thermal cycling, fluid exposure, or qualification standards when another datasheet lacks the same condition.
